Why This Matters
"This is the 30th year of women's soccer and I have been here for 25 years of it! This year we are trying to raise $30,000 for 30 years of SJUWSOC. As the coach of the Saint Joseph’s University women’s soccer team for 25 years, donating back to the program means giving back to a family that has shaped my life. Through good times and bad, we’ve always fought and persevered together. Our team is more than a roster, it’s a close-knit group built on trust, resilience, and a shared love for the game and each other. From last-minute wins to the toughest losses, every moment has been an amazing memory of an incredible journey. Supporting the program helps continue the tradition and the mindset we live by every day: the Hawk Will Never Die. It’s not just a motto, it’s our family mentality and the spirit that keeps us moving forward together. with every player who has been a part of it."
About Campus Ministry - Appalachian Experience
The Appalachian Experience (APEX) is an Ignatian, alternative spring break program focused on service, immersion, and learning about Appalachian history and culture. Participants prepare before Spring Break, then spend a week serving in Appalachia and reflect on their experiences afterward. Since 2019, APEX costs have risen due to transportation, food, and other expenses, with the cost for 2026 estimated at $800 per participant. We hope APEX alumni and friends will help current students access this impactful experience.
