"As both a proud alumna and a member of the Saint Joseph’s University Advancement team, I have the privilege of seeing how philanthropy truly changes lives. I’m especially inspired by the work happening through the School of Nursing and Allied Health and the Francis M. Maguire Art Museum, two areas that reflect the heart of Saint Joseph’s mission: preparing students to serve others while enriching the communities around them. Every day, Saint Joe’s students are preparing to become nurses, caregivers, leaders, artists, and innovators who will shape our communities for years to come. Day of Giving is a moment when the entire Hawk community comes together to support that mission. The Students In Need Fund provides direct financial assistance to students facing unexpected expenses, ensuring they have the resources needed to stay on track academically. The fund helps with essential costs such as: Textbooks, Coursepacks and access codes for online assignments, lab materials and art supplies, replacement of stolen or damaged property. By supporting students in times of financial hardship, this fund helps remove barriers to success and keeps students focused on their education.
